The essences in the game will be lost.

I play as a Warlock Mage, equipped with a Summoner's weapon, and have over 150 essences. When fighting monsters, the essences will be lost, and the summoned pets will also disappear along with them. I use a controller to play the game. Please help me with this. Thank you.
