I remember clearly Jonathans Rogers saying in a Interview in 0.2 that they wanted to make every skill usefull as main damage skill build but here we are where they are destroying skill that were doing OKish to making those skill being just a stupid battery for generating charge or infusion while all those skill since release that deal 0 damage are abandoned litteraly...
Orb of storm doing great with correct setup now reduced to a trash battery for infusion !! Incinerate destroyed because of whirlwind broken ground damage... Ball of Lightning still doing 0 damage... Elemental Expression (Wild strike) well i still continue to insult you to death !! wild strike a SPELL who the Fck have this stupid idea ??? Rain of Arrow still doing 0 damage... Vine Arrow destroyed instead of nerfing damage on high level gem and reduced to a mere slow with very little AoE... Ice Nova doing 0 damage and other than freezing its a worst version of Frost Bomb ! Volatile Dead well don't even try to play this its doing 0 damage and to trigger them its cancer... Yeah Nice patch overhall lot of great improvement to the game but that all build diversity got nuked !! |

Not fan of those - you get damage 50% of a time. Guys, please. Why not make it - give 50% more damage on skills that consumed frenzy charges. It would be a lot better, no?

" My guess is you have to bind a skill to only use weapon set 2 for it to switch. On PC press x to switch manually works for me rn. |

" Sure and sorry that I have chosen such harsh words first. Any character will now start with acrobatics by base. With a little penalty to count for that change on evasion and the extra that bosses will have now skills which cannot be evaded or blocked ever. We will need a bit more evasion to get to the same amounts as without acrobatics before, but you will need most likely far less evasion as with acrobatics skilled AND you don't even have to waste 1 skill point into acrobatics anymore. In addition we now have deflect which will further improve your defenses with an effect that likely halfs all incoming damage, with a chance that is based on your evasion. So in terms of just evasion it is a slight nerf maybe, but in terms of acrobatics it is a huge buff, since we have right from the start a chance to even evade AoEs and not only attacks and spells. Extra (Not directly bound to the conversation/change): Problem about acrobatics before was also mostly that people thought it is a noob trap, while they were trying to justify that 2k life in a T15 map would be appropriate, which was the actual noob move. But at start of maps you actually want to have around 2k life to deny most one shots and most stuns. Since stun threshold is based on your life. The reason why many were unhappy with the stun probability of their chars, since their characters had literally not the life they should have on their level. So up to T15-16 you wanted to have around 3,5 - 4k life on your chars and would deny either getting one shot or getting stunned to begin with, in combination with acrobatics and like 70% evasion you maybe died once every 50 map or if you juiced it to the moon. Combining but a good pool with Evasion, as we saw on ES builds showed us that you don't even need much Evasion to begin with to stay alive or to feel more tanky, since the pure EHP values hinder enemies of one shotting you. So the evasion could do what it was supposed to be, to hinder enemies from bursting us down with 2 or more hits. Depending on the mods on maps it still could occur, no questioning that, but not in such frequencies as you would with ignoring life and only stacking evasion and hoping that acrobatics would solve that problem for you. " Isn't current convention that Heatproofing applies to Fire damage? I would have thought the names to dmgs would be: Heatproofing = Fire, Dampening = Lightning, Insulation = Cold. |

Lots of nerfs guys. No passive tree.
