My Coming Calamity with all socket gems and runes disappeared as I entered Trial of Chaos

I had just fully equipped my armor and all available slots, and when I entered the trail, my armor was gone.

I logged in again only today, after the frustration of what had happened yesterday, and it seems like my account was rolled back to just before I lost my armor but the gems from the stash that I had placed in the heralds from the armor are gone.

Was this a manual action from GG or a bug?
