Cannot click ransom to get boat crew home

Hello there!
Cannot click ransom to get boat crew home eventhough I have way more than 50k gold in inventory or in the bank in Kingsmarch :'( The button is just greyed out. Only thing I can do is abandon. It happened as I wanted to rescue boatsmen yet accidently walked back through the portal, and now in this sad limbo. Cheers! Last bumped on Aug 2, 2025, 4:04:16 AM

You can only choose one thing - rescue or ransom. If you fail rescue (even if by misclick), you only have to abandon.
