Concern Regarding Recent Staff Conduct in TFT (The Forbidden Trove) Community
Approximately a week ago, I was unexpectedly suspended from the TFT server. This came as a complete surprise to me, as I have not violated any of the server’s rules to my knowledge. The only message I received stated the following:
"You were removed from The Forbidden Trove. | Phished account, change your password and enable 2fa, then appeal your suspension here:" I followed the provided instructions, reset my account credentials, enabled 2FA, and submitted the appeal form via the link sent by Dyno bot. After waiting two to three days without any response, I began looking into alternative ways to contact TFT staff. Eventually, I came across another suspension appeal form, which I also filled out and submitted successfully. To be honest, I wasn’t surprised it took seven days to hear anything back — not because my appeal was reviewed and denied, but because I received no response at all. That complete silence was incredibly frustrating. I eventually posted a message expressing my concerns and dissatisfaction with how things were being handled, which is shown in the attached screenshot. I was direct, but not offensive. As a member of the community, I felt I had every right to voice my disappointment over what seemed like total disregard for active members. I'd also like to clarify that the language I used in that message — while clearly written in frustration — was not abusive, threatening, or offensive. It may have been emotionally charged, but it didn’t cross the line into any form of harassment or toxicity. I respectfully ask that it not be judged too harshly. At the time, I felt ignored and powerless in the situation, and my message was an attempt to get some kind of response from the staff. That said, even if the tone wasn’t ideal, I strongly believe it should not be grounds for a permanent removal from the TFT Discord server. Expressing frustration — without using slurs, insults, or threats — should not disqualify someone from being part of a community they've respected and participated in for a long time. Following my second form submission, I finally received a response — from a moderator named Nell — whose reply was, quite literally: “Go f* yourself” Link to direct DM in discord - [Removed by Support] I have to ask: Is this really considered acceptable behavior from a TFT staff member? Is it standard to apply a server restriction without presenting any evidence or allowing any meaningful dialogue? Should members be left without communication or updates regarding their account actions for days on end? Is it appropriate for a community moderator to speak to members this way — regardless of the situation? It’s extremely disappointing to see a community that I once respected treat its members with such disregard. I’m not trying to stir drama; I’m simply asking for a fair process and basic respect. To any TFT admins reading this, please feel free to contact me directly regarding the possibility of lifting the suspension or to discuss any other options for future cooperation and involvement within the community. Why do people even bother with TFT nowadays? Every month there's a new drama regarding that server and I genuinely wonder why people still join it despite all that.

TFT is all volunteers. It's always been one ounce of snark = permaban. Can't blame 'em.
Until bulk selling/buying everything you see bulk sold in TFT becomes possible with the exchange people have no other option than to use TFT. People would be happy to pay exchange fees and take less currency to not have to trade with people. There's even a poverty meta of buying items on trade to flip on the currency exchange exemplifying this. |

I mean if u offend a mod u get banned, that should be obv. It was like that in the late 90s, lol...I have never traded on tft, but if i would want to trade there i would just trade and not post offensive stuff, shouldn't be to hard. THat said GGG should offer every alternative they can to make that discord as unattractive as possible.

Well this isn't the TFT forum they can speak how they please on that discord server they run, Its not tied to GGG not sure what you are expecting to happen.
And that is expected behavior from TFT staff members they've always been like that. -Official Forum Dweller-

If you went up to your irl boss and pissed him off.......what would happen?
TFT is not a free for all, it is moderated by people who are effectively the boss of what you can and cannot do and say. And you agreed to all that by joining. Do people not understand this?! Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Aug 1, 2025, 11:16:53 PM

" What surprises me is that after 26 years of this kind of crap people don't understand people or how interaction on the internet works. |

The moral of this story is to not type angry. It never works out the way you want. You got what you gave.
I poop, therefore I am.

TFT and the people who run it have been a stain on this game for years, and that's putting it mildly.
I'd rather be poor forever than engage in anything that has to do with that place. Thankfully its relevance has been somewhat reduced nowadays. Love the games. PoE1 way more so than PoE2, but still enjoying both. Hate the company. The scummy, lying, fake and shitty facade, the excuses, the failures, and most of all, the "Vision". Keep both of those in mind when reading my posts. Last edited by PrimordialDarkness#3913 on Aug 3, 2025, 2:56:06 PM
