Guild Signet - Ring Grants XP Bonus w/ Guild Members
To improve the social aspect of the game while also strengthening guild affiliation, the devs should consider adding a new unique ring called the “Guild Signet” that while equipped will grant you an XP bonus while you’re in a group with any guild member. This ring will have no level requirement and can be used for new characters. The flavor text on the item will also display your guild name.
Guild Signet Unique Ring Level: No Requirement Restriction: Does not spawn in SSF Mode Grants 3-5% increased experience gain while in a group with any guild member. Flavor Text: The official seal of “Guild Name.” This idea is akin to the tabard from World of Warcraft, where it shows membership to a guild. Hm. The problem is this would have to be a disabled drop in SSF, and if your average player (who probably shares a guild with a few friends that only play together sometimes) picks it up, they will probably feel worse about playing alone.
How about Royal Signet Unique Ring Your other ring slot is disabled +15% to all Elemental Resists of allies in your presence 6% increased experience while an ally is in your presence Allies can only be affected by one Royal Signet at a time Worn on the ring finger of the Emperor, it is said to grant wisdom befitting a kingdom's needs That way minion/ pet builds could also enjoy it, or you could throw in a tanky spectre or something to make use of it. " Agreed, added restriction in OP that it does not spawn in SSF Mode. Whole point of ring is to incentive social aspect of game and playing with guildmates, I do not like idea for only granting XP bonus to minion builds. " The ring I suggested would still work with your guildmates and party members, as the keyword is allies not minions. It would just work with minions as well, so it could still be usable in SSF, or for those without a guild/ friends to play with. Otherwise the MTX would work for the social aspect. Either you would show the seals around your character on charge builds, or be able to link the ring that tracks your members like you would a Pilfering Ring that tracks your drops. I get your meaning though. It's a cool idea, and I do prefer your version. I just think having something in the game but drop disabled in SSF and only affecting guild is a bit out of pocket for an ARPG, so I thought I'd suggest alternatives along the same lines. Now that I think about it, I think the devs said they don't want MTX for charge types so maybe not the charges one. I also don't know if they have the technology to display guild members/ guild name on a ring, and track the amount above a certain level, or if it would be worth the time to develop.
