Currency exchange bugged

I put in the exact ratio for the exchange someone was selling scarabs at and entered it. Then nothing happened. I watched all the scarabs slowly selling to others while my offer sat there. Even though I offered the same/best exchange rate.

Then as I was checking, I was seeing multiple listings for the same exchange rate, instead of having them grouped.

THEN I see someone put in the seller offer for the same rate I had, with mine being the only one on the buyer side, and... I still didn't get the scarabs.

AND THEN, your exchange kicks my offer out, saying completed when I still have one third of my chaos still in the exchange. Just wasted my gold.

1.3 scarabs to 1 gold, with 214 of my gold left, and it kicks my listing out?

WTF! Thankfully I only lost like 25k gold, but still why was my listing wasted?

I do not see how my listed got cancelled before it was over. I have seen it happen when the rounding prevents a sale, but thats when you have a chaos or two left, and the price becomes 2.5 or 3.

I should have had another 260+ scarabs coming from that exchange.

Chances are if it was best ratio, it was already sold out before the ticker updated with the next best price. It's a live exchange in a multiplayer game, it's not going to be updated to the millisecond with however many people looking at it at the same time. If you're sure you had the best rate and ones with worst rates were selling, include a screenshot. I've only ever seen that when people were selling like 12 of an item for 11 divines, but the ones for 1 divine were selling to people who only wanted one.

Since you got a partial order fulfilled, that is leaning even more that someone fast listed all of their scarabs to get rid of them at the cheapest rate and they were gone before you listed.

Partial orders work in that you are asking for some non-whole ratio, someone fulfills part of your order at a better ratio, and then the remainder cannot be fulfilled because of invalid ratio. Like buying 87 scarabs for 920 chaos, comes out to 10.574 bunch of other decimals per scarab. Someone lists for 10.5c each, those are better ratios, so your buy order eats their sell order at a better ratio, but since it didn't fulfill the whole order, the rest cannot be fulfilled because the remainder probably does not divide out equally and sends it back to you. Listing in closer to normal ratios like 0.5, 0.33, 0.25, etc is more likely to fulfill all the orders and maybe refunding some at the end if better ratios are found, but far less likely with other listings.

And I haven't done many irregular value orders since learning about that, but last time I checked it does refund the gold difference at some point. Maybe when you claim the items or something.. I don't remember now. There were dozens of these bug reports last league, and it was being refunded without them realizing at first. Unless that was broken specifically this league and no one else has reported it yet. But without proof the gold is being lost, I'm leaning towards not realizing it was refunded.

Unfortunately I did not hit the right button at the start of my screen shotting so I lost the most important one I could have had. Not sure if gold was refunded later, but it is possible.

Still given the ratios, it shouldn't have kicked the order 2/3s of the way through.

Also, I would not mind if they put a fix in the exchange so you couldn't list things without a multiple of 1 or 10, make rounding easier for it.
