Blight in endgame is unplayable.

...even with a very good PC my FPS drops from 144FPS (capped) to 2-6 FPS and the game freezes + crashes frequently.

Wasn't able to finish 1 Blight encounter so far.

And I don't run crazy tactics with x10.000.000 mob density or so, I just use all the Blight Scarabs that the game offers on a 8 mod map.

It's practicaly unplayable.

And not even lowering the graphic settings to the lowest setting possible helps....quite opposite, it makes the performance even worse.

I remember 3 years ago I hadn't any problems doing Blight but with this patch it's impossible.

Talked with other peole and all have the same problem....Many of them said that it's a server problem from your side, not a Hardware problem from our side.

Please fix Blight or your server so we have at least 20-30 FPS in this encounter and not a 2 FPS power point presentation....Thank you.

Just want to say, I'm spec'ed into Blight, I run one every map. On my Windows 11, AMD 7800X3D and 32GB ddr5 6000 memory, playing in ultrawide 3440x1440 at 240fps max, on a nVidia 4700ti Super, in DirectX12, at max settings except no Global Illumination, once everything is at max I get about 80fps, and barely go under that. I managed to finished all my blights...

So I would try (if I were you) to determine THE element in your whole setup that isn't performing as it should. As the game seem to work "as intended" for a majority of us, we could guess that something would be wrong about your setup. I'm not saying it IS, but it would be an easy guess, now just had to figure out what makes it run like that.

(that's not really helping, I'm sorry, but I want to tell you there are "some" people that don't have your problem... ofc)

Have you tried with a different build? Alternatively, maybe higher damage, removing Pierce, or using a different attack for activating CoC? My understanding would be that builds that do an excessive number of low-damage hits can tank performance due to all the calculations it forces the server to run.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Blight by its nature leans towards high density if you aren't killing everything quickly as they spawn.

The game certainly isn't optimized--I recently got a (very slight) pc upgrade, but before that, I was dropping from 30 fps to 2 if I did a Blight encounter. Even if I wasn't attacking, my CPU was just not able to keep up. I can see that going for the server calculations, too, with your build's hundreds of hits per second. Could easily see it build up to multiple thousands of hits per second as Blight monsters pack into a small space.
