Items from map device are removed when character which put them there is deleted

Scenario:
1. Login as any character and open map device. Put there any scarabs/fragments
2. Exit to character selection
3. Delete character from point 1
4. Login as other character and open map device
5. All scarabs/fragments are gone

Tagged as client but it's probably connected with how game handle map device?

It is something with how the game handles the map device, and not a bug.

Some storages are character specific. In addition to the map device, there are also the crafting benches, and Sanctum's relic altar.
