Disappearing loot

Loot drops from mobs and bosses disappear before you are able to pick them up.

This is important to know, because how this part works on PoE 1 and PoE 2 is slightly different.

Z is the default keyboard hotkey for "Toggle Always Highlight".
Always Highlight is a gameplay setting that causes items labels to always be displayed (unless hidden by the filter), as well as labels for some other things, like chests and waypoints. The hotkey allows you to toggle this setting on/off without having to open settings every time.

You can toggle Always Highlight on controller using an action that is bound, by default, to L2 + Dpad Right.


I don't recall what the controller setting is for temporarily displaying labels.
