The Marketplace waypoint in 1.08

Hi there.

I noticed that after the recent patch in which you have changed to Marketplace waypoint to always spawn outside the Catacombs, it is now placed squarely on top of a mob pack spawn, which, despite the long grace-timer, is not really that convenient for obvious reasons. I assume this is an oversight?

Yes, I died to that as soon as the patch came out.
It's clearly an oversight. I can confirm it happens though.

Yeah, quite often when you enter marketplace via wp, you'll see mobs coming to you when the area has loaded. I just went to marketplace and found myself right in the middle of aura enhanced rare pack of those puncture undying -> death. That kind of stuff can happen when you come back to marketplace from catacombs too. There's not any kind of safe zone around the wp or catacomb entrance.

I haven't played since the last couple of patches, so unable to comment about the WP, but fully agree that stepping out of the catacombs use to be very close to a mob every time.
I've died once to a mob spawn on top of the wp, but only because it was impalers + 2 splitting carrion queens.

... Who am I kidding? This shouldn't be happening. Fix please!
Yeah, the wp is definitely not safe, I have ported in with mobs right next to me on quite a few occasions even with an ssd for fast load times.

You'll most likely be dead if disconnect after porting in to a new marketplace instance.

There is a period of 45 secs when joining a new instance that if you disconnect, your character remains in that instance until the time period is up.

Not sure if it has been fixed yet.
I'm wondering if this should be moved/posed to the beta bugs section rather than just the feedback.
There will be a fix for this in 0.10.8c
