Gambled 6 million coins in Alva for a super quality Crossbow. Results :

I take as quality Crossbow only those who provide " +X to all projectile skills ".

With this rule as standard the results are:

1) 4,4% +1 to all projectile skills.
2) 2,8% +2 to all projectile skills
3) 3,5% +3 to all projectile skills.
4) 0,5% +4 to all projectile skills.

5) 0,3% +5 to all projectile skills.

6) 0,0% +6-7 to all projectile skills.

What do you think about gambling? Is it worth chasing a dream or should i count to quality drops? As far in 900+ hours found five "6 to all projectile skills" and one "7".

Your only bet is the marketplace, and right now some dude desperately trying to sell +7 crossbow with 700 pdps for only 40 divines. You can also get 9+ crit for 300-500d, don't tell me you can't afford that after 900 hours...

You can't gamble anything decent especailly if weapons, especially if +7 from Alva. And it's not the matter of "what I or someone else think" about gambling. You simply can only gamble items with item level less than 80 while for top tier mods you need item level of 82, that's it.

Gambling might be good during campaign though, especially if early in league when the people suffer from currency shortages...

But if I had to gabmle I'd try belts, since they are easiest to craft and so higher chance to gamble sellable/usable one. On the other hand they also worth less than the most other item types.

Indeed. A big issue about gambling is that items not coming with at least 4 modifiers revealed and thous lot of exalted gone wasted. The measurements are not correct because i need to count only the items that come directly with +X to all projectile skills and not try opening modifiers with any currency.

Another big issue as you mentioned it, is the price of items that are unbalanced between items. 16k for a crossbow is insane value. Belts are better from the other hand.
Some tip. Game is assisted by neural network (as mentioned in last interview). You can hint it desired stats by another items, gems or spells. Just start to create your build. Don't try to roll all equipment prematurely.
It works like text input prediction on smartphones.

So you bought 350+ crossbow and none of them had +6 to all projectile skills. For +7 i admit is difficult and extremely rare but +6 shouldn't be 0%.

6 million coins is a bit too much for wasting them but from the other hand gold is useless anyway.

Devs should lower a bit the prices and allow us to buy super quality items from vendors. Right now they are all garbage.
No way to get something extremely good from gambling bro! It's like the mashine Recombinator. Never got created an item with +6+7 to all projectile. About +5 ONLY once but the percentage was 19%.

Thanks for the example. I will not spend coins in gambling if these results are real. You can't spend a fortune for nothing. The prices are too expensive on some items + you need to loose currencies to reveal the modifiers. Too expensive at all.
Try gwennen for weapon and alva for amulets....not saying it's guaranteed because it's a gamble but my best base weapons came from gwennen, not alva.
