I'm counting as dead, but i'm not dead

So, my character VkaesoronVFisTrash counting as dead in poe ladder. But as you can see, i'm still playing HC Merc.
A couple of weeks ago I was trading with someone, tped to him in Kingsmarch and he was surprised and wrote something like wow, I just saw you die. I didn't pay attention to it, but as the poe ladder says, I really died, although it is not so.
