soulrend lag?

i've invested the rest of my currency into a soulrend of the spiral build however it makes my game crash for 5/6 portals for the past few maps, not sure what to do for me to fix this so thought i'd ask here.

i've optimized my in game settings to the best of my knowledge even putting my resolution to the lowest possible, i've cleared cache and repaired client, etc but it still crashes, i've played 5 man juiced content, and even played simililarly screen intense skills on my own without any issue yet soulrend alone instantly crashes my game.
