Game freeze and map reset

Having an issue of after around a half an hour or less of play my game will freeze and my mini map progression will reset. Is that a bug, memory, or VRam issue? 3060 8GB GPU (yes, I know there is a 12GB I got scammed).

I have this same issue on a pretty beastly rig. I have a 4090, 7700x, 64g ram. I think maybe this is connected to the hard crash issue that was an issue for many people with the new windows update, but I don't know for sure. Anyway, it is quite annoying and caused me to lose a 17mil shipment!
