PSA : Remember to double check your items before clicking accept trade!!
Just fell for a scam for a light of meaning with ES, asked for 120d instead of the original 119.7d price and swapped the jewel in the second trade window!
Don't be like me!! Double check your trades! As for me I guess I'm going back to the heist mines o7 ![]() Last bumped on Jul 20, 2025, 11:51:27 AM

But why are we checking the items if we click accept anyway?

If someone drops the first trade window its roughly a 50/50 on whether or not it was a mistake or a scam.

If it's a big ticket item and they close the window on you it's more like a 90% chance of a scam.

Almost every league I will play minions.
Every league I do, the amount of time I spend checking to make sure I'm not getting scammed on a large 12 cluster jewel that is high level is funny. I am checking everything one by one, even though the jewel name is the exact same as the trade site lol. |

Yep tell-tale sign: if they flash the correct item then close the trade window for ANY REASON......its an instant gtfo of there and report them.
I would even say its basically NEVER an accident if the seller closes the trade window on you after they show you the item. 99.999% they are trying to scam you. Why would they need to click anywhere near that x to begin with after having already put the item in? Starting anew....with PoE 2
