Nvidia's nvgx_update.exe 10+ instances under pathofexile.exe

As per screenshot.

Not sure when this started occurring. Some PoE crashes made me update the driver, I was running lastest of the time, since launch, as was forced update. Then last 2 days had occasional crash, once per 2 hours etc. So updated driver. Crashes persisted so I started looking around for cause. Found the nvngx_update.exe launching under PoE, calling a conhost.exe job. These never complete.


Any ideas?

Update 1: I have blocked the nvngx from executing, using a local security policy. PoE is now opening without the nvngx instances under it. I will report after a session or 2 if this has stopped my crashes.

The stopping of the program from executing has stabilized my experience.
