Account set to public but shows as private on PoB and can't use services like awakened POE

Er. Not going to lie, I'm clutching at straws in that case (if that weren't already obvious).

The issue doesn't appear to be server-side, and yet persists after a program reinstall - not to mention, it affects more than one of the programs you use. The trade site would expose any API ratelimiting in effect due to e.g. price-checking applications spamming their API.

Could you try the list of instructions on Blizzard Entertainment's support article, below? I'd like to perform some initial network-focused troubleshooting on your end to see if it helps.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but it's 3 am here in Ireland, so I think I'm going to bail. Tomorrow when I get the chance I'll try digging into exactly how / when / why PoBC throws that error message so I can offer more tailored suggestions.

Or maybe the problem will just go away or someone else will figure it out. That works, too. :)
