Account set to public but shows as private on PoB and can't use services like awakened POE

Recently out of the blue my PoB started to tell me I am unable to import my POE characters stating my account is private (which is not the case). At the same time my awakened POE trade also stopped working and I am unable to see a problem. I have uninstalled, reset privacy settings, and tried anything I could think of. Please help.

I just tried with my PoB and it works fine on your account. (I like the name of your Slayer)

Have you changed anything else that might interfere with PoB importing?

You'll dislike me immensely for asking - but would you mind showing us a screenshot of the Path of Building import window?

Are you using a VPN or anything that could potentially result in requests sent to GGG's server being blocked / ignored? I am not involved with the Path of Building Community fork, but I believe the program essentially treats that particular error message as a fallback; i.e. "if all else fails, claim the profile is private & blame the user." I realise you appear to be posting on the forum without issue, but I wouldn't be surprised if their API & their website used different tools to moderate access.

As an aside... if you go to https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search and try a random search query (I don't know, search for Loreweave or something), does it work or do you get an error message? The latter would point to some kind of ratelimiting in effect for you, which might explain Path of Building's unsuccessful attempt to query their server for a list of your characters.

Poe trade works just fine for me as it always has, I do not run any kind of VPN or network setup. I really am not sure what is causing this. I have used all of these things for a very long time with no issues, and I have changed nothing

Sorry for being a bit crap - but if you uninstall Path of Building Community & give it a fresh download and install, does it work then or do you still get the same thing?

Just re downloaded, same exact message. Everything is fully up to date.
