skill gem idea: toxicity
i had a small brainstorm and came up with a skill or support idea. didn't get anything solid as i was rethinking from multiple angles of skill types.
either way it'll be a blue gem of int/dex req. support version possibility: lv 25 req for lv 1 gem lv 20 effects: -20% less damage [this value is what changes] converts damage to chaos damage is applied over 3 seconds [quality would reduce this by % amount] don't know if possible in first place but ontop of that, a critical would need to add a second to duration for balance reasons. it would need to share/replace viper strike and be unable to work along side or even separate from it. and lastly, duration increases must not work with it. spell version possibility: lv 20 req 80% damage modifier 30-45 chaos damage, +7%/lv compounded AoE, size equal to or slightly smaller than cold snap. increased by quality amount. logic behind this, primarily another AoE is plain nice. i kept damage moderately low across most levels, this is necessary as it is chaos damage after all, ontop of that the 80% damage modifier would decrease abuse and the damage scaling is perfectly fine as of version 9.10 |
