Are the PoE2 servers performing the same as PoE1?
I stopped playing PoE1 because I got tired of constantly freezing up for 5-10 seconds, getting rolled back, having map reset, being DC'd etc..Just a terrible experience and counterproductive.
I haven't played PoE2 since these server issues because I assumed they were also having the same issue but can anyone confirm if that is the case or are the PoE2 servers somehow being spared these DC issues? Last bumped on Jun 26, 2025, 10:39:15 PM

I usually play PoE2, I regularly get spikes, and extremely rare rollbacks. but once the ping spikes start they just get worse and worse, when that happens I can play PoE1 without a problem, even made it to maps by now. In PoE1 I don't mind spikes, but DCs happen, then I switch to PoE2.
I made this thread about it cuz i thought it was sus, but I guess its just dedicated servers: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3797628 Some ppl don't get the spikes in poe2 global, so you will just have to see for yourself if you are affected. |

I haven't played PoE1 in years so I can't speak from experience there, but the PoE2 servers are a mess right now. I literally can't play on Australia servers. My ping looks like a heart rate monitor and the game play is like a slideshow. I get disconnected every 3-4 minutes. I swapped to NZ servers, and while it's better, I'm still getting server crashes and rollbacks.
Edit: Apparently if I open up a public party I no longer have the lag/disconnects/rollbacks. Something about the dedicated servers having issues? Last edited by KoronaLite#1699 on Jun 26, 2025, 11:09:08 PM
