Cannot place Recombinator in hideout despite being unlocked

After completing an Expedition encounter and unlocking the Recombinator decoration, it appears in my hideout decoration menu. However, when I try to place it, nothing happens. The object cannot be positioned anywhere in the hideout, even on flat, open ground.

I’ve tried:

Switching to different hideouts (including default and premium ones)

Reclaiming all decorations

Restarting the game and client

Logging in with other characters

The issue persists across all hideouts. The item is selectable, but placement does not work — no red or green preview appears, and clicking does nothing.

Expected behavior:
The Recombinator should be placeable like other functional decorations once unlocked via Expedition content.

Current hideout used: [Cartographer, Baleful, Lush, Undercity]

Steps to reproduce:

Complete Expedition encounter

Go to hideout

Open decoration menu → find Recombinator

Try to place it → fails silently

I'm having the same issue.

Figured it out. You need to go to Kingsmarch and start the quest.

Isla will appear after you've gone through a few of the objectives, like hiring a recruit.
