Citadels not spawning?

SO I've made new char got to the end game, lvl 90 and still not a single Citadel spawned? I went south to new direction in to the fog, doing maps only to travel from tower to tower and can't see any beams anywhere... Is there any bug now, or its just my luck?

+1 They don`t seem to exist. Atleast not for me. I, too, am lvl 90 and stacked with waystones I kept for citadels at this point. I traveled several screens in different directions: towers and corruption is all I see on the horizon.

In an odd twist, I didn`t really miss them this season. Kinda makes you think.

Its weird, i can see the corrupted areas in fog but no beams! Wouldn't bother about them but i would like to find my two citadels i missing {copper and stone}
Cos I've failed to do them on my old char. Now i got the power but no citadels lol

So if this is true and I'll take your word for it, I have a feeling you guys may be part of a small percentage of players who have this as a bug because of this was widespread it would be all over the forums.

A little big of acknowledgement from GGG would be nice if this is a bug and I say that because this would fall under a game breaking bug since this is technically locking you out of content where the only way to obtain the stones for Arb is to purchase them, ask for them as a gift or get lucky as a drop in a party that you're not the leader of.

Now if they are aware that this is a bug and there's no work around without a new league then this should also be mentioned to the players. It would unfortunately a scenario of you just got the short end of the stick for the time being until a new league comes out but at least be thankful you can still play.

I know i can buy the stones but i would like to find the citadels by my self its the feel that I've complete it my self and had my revenge :)

I'm sorry boys but once I got far away from the start I have A LOT on my atlass. I don't even do them all at some points.

Possibly issues with how the atlas generates + luck but in my opinion you might have high expectations for how far you have to travel. At first there are 0 citadels but once you get far enough they start spawning.

So, today I've clicked on my quest icon and somehow 2 citadels appeared right next to me in the fog where was no citadels before.. Hopefully now they will keep spawning normally..
