Asenath's Gentle Touch Silk Gloves extreme performance issues
When using Asenath's Gentle Touch Silk Gloves on a merc in extreme density like juiced harbinger + beyond the pops from the physical corpse explode seems to crash textures. Screen will strobe out and lag the instance intensely. In dense Blight it crashes the game entirely. The strobing effect consists through being paused in the passive skill tree.
Textures look similar to a dying graphics card, but as soon as I take the gloves off my merc the game becomes playable again (but I miss my temp chains badly). Behavior is consistent no matter the merc archetype it is on, as well as what build the player is. Bug report just from hideout, unsure if it includes pc specs, settings, etc. Bug Report ID: #2420209366 Last bumped on Jul 17, 2025, 3:11:39 PM

Second that. Any updates?
I also think the curses not being removed from corpses plays a role, as with hundreds of monsters being killed every curse duration time, that's a lot of stress Ign: Vezu Last edited by Vezu#6049 on Jul 17, 2025, 11:33:07 AM

Same. Bought good triple curse Asenath only to find out it's entirely unplayable. Changed to a different pair of double curse on hit gloves and it works perfect.

Thought it was just my aged PC, but yeah. My merc has Asenath's with Enfeeble and max density Breach+Beyond+Harb+Blight makes it spazz out as OP describes (textures stop loading etc.). But even deeper in the Delve (like 600+) with 50% increased pack size it can happen too.
Sometimes I also get an instance lag spike (despite being 30ms normally) when a couple dozen monsters chain explode. I had a few instances of being booted out of the instance too (not crash to desktop, just logout). (I also occasionally use Oriath's End for these dense monster scenarios.) Ascend with precision.
