Aspect of the Spider

Hey guys. I dropped lvl 30 aspect of the spider onto my ring (im using kalandra's touch in the other slot) - on my arakaali build. Did activate the skill yet no animation, no debuff on enemies from it, not a single one.

I used almost the exact same build in 3.25 and it worked just fine. Anyone has some input on it?
