Profane Proxy Curse aura not working when equipped to merc.

Mercenaries cannot use or trigger gems or skills from items.

The gems in the profane proxy ring are not triggered or used tho, nor are they interracting with mercenary in any way. So either wording should be changed or a description added.

While merc not counting for "your chilling Skitterbot's" makes sense, does that then also mean it doesnt get affected by stats such as Leer casts "You and nearby allies gain 50% increased damage" thus only being on the receiving end of the "25% reduced damage"?
