Flipping currency in POE

So, i noticed similar behavior before, person has sell order for lot of currency, but not buy order, so you cant see where he gets it, and often his certain type of currency just stacks, you can see it appear on live search often.

Where do they get it for good price since they dont have buy order? Its probably bot, but from Faustus he cant get it, since buy price there is higher than regular market, only place he can get it for good price is from regular market.

So he buys it manually from regular trade?

Well, a few things,

1 - He might be getting that currency from items he is flipping, rather than currency he is flipping. If you flip 100 items for 50c each, you have a lot of chaos. And 100 is not a lot.

2 - They sometimes are not selling it at all. The top ads for Divs to Chaos are often people hoping you think their ads are legit, and will then put up your ad at that price, then they will swoop and buy your stuff.

For instance, if 1 div = 150 chaos, they will put up ads for 1 div for 140 chaos. If you message them, they dont sell. They just have that there so you put up your divine for 140, or 135, or 145 chaos, then they buy it, resell for 150 chaos, 5c profit for nothing.

3 - They are part of the big league RMT trades that have many thousands of divs and tens of thousands of chaos very, very quickly. So quick, in fact, you might think there is no legit way any number of players with any strat could amass it so quickly so the only remaining answers is.... well, I'd be banned here for saying it. By the mods. Who work for GGG. Huh?

I know he gets currency by other way, selling something other. But my question is where does he buy that currency item he sells- Valdos Puzzlebox, since he cant get it from Faustus- price is bigger there. And he doesnt have buy order on regular trade- His Chaos for Valdo, he probably buys it manually from others, or scripted bot, since guy had about 900 Puzzleboxes which is crazy

Guilds maybe

I have friends that are the "mule" of the guild, they are the ones responsible for selling and buying stuff.
20 ppl farming, 1 selling

I was thinking that, because there is no way one person could do that

Flipping currency and items in POE has been a core part of the game since its inception.
Flipping is a skill, and is just as fun as other aspects of the game such as leveling, building, bossing etc.
Just as some players reach lvl 100 within a day or two of the start of the league, some also earn hundreds of divine within a few days through flipping.
It has nothing to do with bots or RMT.

I know, i was flipping yellow lifeforce before Faustus, earned about 20% minimum profit per sale, often 25%, sometimes even 40 based on if i sniped good deal. Buy with chaos, sell for divines.

At settlers, i was buying Voidborne Reliquary key for 3.1 div, sometimes 3 div. And at Faustus i was selling them for 2 keys for 7 div. That means for every 2 keys i earned 0.8 div, or 1 div if i got them for 3 from regular trade. Just activate live search and buy 3.1 ones. I earned about 11-12 div per hour, financed Mageblood with it.
