Life Drain from Rite of Ruin and CI interraction
The life drain of 0.1% of life per second per rage while not losing rage from Rite of Ruin has a float behaviour when life is reduced to 1 because of Chaos Innoculation. What I mean by float behaviour is that it does not get rounded down to 0 instantly, you can see the lifebar progressively going down.
However no sources of life recoup/leech/life gain on hit seem to have this float behaviour, and instead wait until life is down by a full integer to apply, for CI this is very limiting since you basically kill your own character every 30 or so seconds if you try to run these two nodes together. The only option is to use life regen but in my particular setup I planned on using Zealot's Oath. I don't really care if this particular setup of mine works or not but I just thought it's weird that these things don't work. Last bumped on Jun 20, 2025, 6:36:30 AM
