The wording in-game is that a STR Mercenary will be equippable with gear requiring STR, STR + DEX or STR + INT.
Garb of the Ephemeral cannot be equipped by them, despite meeting the STR + INT attribute requirement. I suspect it's because the STR requirement is being added onto the item, and doesn't exist on the basetype. Can we have confirmation if this is a bug or intended behaviour? +1 but i think this is because of the base being savant robe and the str requirement being from explicit mods

Bump. I would like to use this broken combo on my Merc as well. Garb of the Ephemeral is, after all, an expensive item that requires strength.
