How Secrets of the Atlas Launch Went

Just spit-balling here, but perhaps one of the best ways you could avoid some of what happened in the future is to:

Stop
Doing
Dev
Up
To
The
Wire

You'd think, after all the years you've been running this, after launching POE2, you'd have learned your lesson to ignore that little voice that says "Oh we have a week before launch, we can change it!"

I say this as an experienced engineer, including a stint in the video game industry.

Running stuff to the last minute opens the door for these sorts of things. I used to think all the issues were just a side effect of small size / etc. Now I think some of it is just your inability to say "No, we're going live with the build we know works. We'll work on another build that modifies / tweaks things the way we'd like to see them and it'll be a fast-follow patch."

Another day, another disconnect
GGG just fully breaking 4th-wall, POE now is a game where players exiled to the login screen and must find a way back and in the end Zana will ask you "Still sane, exile?"
Let's do a little test here...because I find the amount of hypocrisy in this post to be alarming, but maybe I'm the one that is wrong here, so let's see.

You have said that you "love and care about your customers" in the article above. And yet, last July, you banned me without warning or evidence. You will not explain to me what I did to get banned, nor will your "Customer Service" answer routine questions when I ask them.

I have not played your game since.

All I have wanted to do is play your game, but I am prevented from doing so.

If you truly care about your players, as you say you do, please contact me and help me become a customer of yours once more. I will happily remove this post and play your game again, but there is no way I can invest in a game, when I was previously banned, and don't even know what I was banned for.

So now the problem with the disconnects is gone since the last patch, but now I have constant freezes and blackscreens and on top now the game crashes from time to time. I don't know what GGG is doing, but it's definitely not satisfactory.
This is the worst decision a manager can make. When you release a patch it is NEVER on a weekend (If you are unable to fix over weekend like in this case).
