3.26 Ruthless Champion - Fortify + Unstoppable Hero

The ascendancy node Fortify, that is a prerequisite to Unstoppable Hero, states that "You have 15 Fortification"

The updated Champion ascendancy node Unstoppable Hero applies bonuses past 20 fortify stacks.

This makes Unstoppable Hero almost completely useless and appears to be unintended. Most linked ascendancy nodes have synergy in mind, but this is completely the opposite.

It's only required to get 6+ fortification stacks to benefit from Unstoppable Hero with Fortitude. Without it, you would need to get 21+ of them. I wouldn't say they lack synergy. But Chamapion now want fortify sources to generate the stacks.

The 15 stacks is the most you can have because the Fortify node from Champion takes priority. Even with the steadfast passive cluster, which normally gives you 26 fortify stacks outside of ruthless, you will remain at 15 stacks.

No, and it's strange that you're saying this having a champion on Ruthless.
