The Dweller of the Deep quest

I completed the quest required to get the achievement in the
game, but it was not counted. After receiving and activating the book, nothing happened, and after killing this monster again, nothing changed. Last bumped on Jun 15, 2025, 8:21:14 PM

Second this, same thing happened to me. Completed on two characters, challenge wasn't complete.

Clearing the Fetid Pools completed the challenge for me. try that?

Clearing the Fetid Pools work for anyone? I also have this issue along with not being able to use scarbs in map device
