Mercenaries not casting Curses if player has a curse up first, even if merc has +number of curses.
As title says: Mercenaries are not casting curses if player has a curse up first, even if merc has +number of curses.
If I let merc cast first, I can cast mine and both are up. But it won't cast if I have my curse up first. If I let my curse run out, he will cast it again. But I'm using mark now which does't run out. And I shouldn't have to let it run out anyway. Maybe it's on purpose to not overwrite the player's curse, but the whole point of picking a merc with curse is that he should cast it. Either change so merc casts normally regardless if a player has curse up. Or make it so the merc can know if it has +curse items. Or make a toggle next to the curse in the merc UI. Anyone has a different experience? Maybe it's just the current merc I'm using. IGN: Bottebo Last bumped on Jul 12, 2025, 10:07:32 PM

I'm seeing a similar issue, except the mercenary is not casting their curse because they have already applied a curse (Curse on Hit gloves equipped to merc), even though they have +1 curses from a ring.
This is happening with at least the cruel mistress mercenary. I will sometimes see 2 curses on the mob, which I assume is when the mercenary initiates with the curse skill before hitting the mob and triggering the gloves. |

Similar issue. Was hoping for cruel mistress to apply both her despair and temp chains from asenath's when I would put doedre's daming on her. But she just applies TC and no despair gets cast.
