+1 same problem
macOS 15.5 m1/m4 Steam client - just try to launch the game, it crashes and tries again, a button appears with a suggestion to launch the game again. Standalone POE client - The game starts, but you won't get past the login menu and - "There has been a patch you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile" (All Gateways) spam on log in button - unable to deserialise packet with pid...... content.dat and update.dat couldn't get it for any of the client versions:

I am running into the same issue.
The game starts, but you won't get past the login menu and: "There has been a patch you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile" (All Gateways) Spam on log in button leads to "unable to deserialise packet with pid 2" MacBook Pro M4, Sequoia 15.6 Game was freshly installed just a few minutes ago. |
