Login Error: There has been a patch that you need to update to. (Mac OS M1)

After patching on Mac Standalone client, I keep getting this error when I try to log in.

There has been a patch that you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile.

How can I fix this issue?

Ended up reinstalling the game via Crossover after today's patch which destroyed every workaround i had found for the Mac version.
When installing via Crossover on a M1-M4 Chip, set Graphics to D3D Metal, synchronisation to whatever you prefer (I run Msync)
Once the game is installed, it will crash on launch. In Crossover, clic 'Open C:Drive', go to users/crossover/documents/my games/path of exile
open "production_config.ini" with Textedit or whatever. Search (cmd+f) for "display" and change "device_type=Vulkan" to "device_type=DirectX12". Save.
Launch the game from Crossover, works like a charm

I just spammed the log in button out of frustration and it started the game. Maybe it helps for you?

Same issue (M2). In fact, it happened 3 days ago, and it worked correctly last night, and happens again today.

same issue here , we cant run as administrator or modify client.exe on mac ? it seems that there the only way to fix this issue

I played with my friend last night (on mac m1)

Today i get this same message and still can't log in too.

Found a way to fix mine, try running the Path of Exile.app in the
~/Library/Application Support/Path of Exile Folder

or

Try doing this commands in terminal

cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Path\ of\ Exile

open -n ./Path\ of\ Exile.app

This should run the client again with the patch.


Additional Info, even after patching if you use the PoE on Launchpad the error still happens, so what i did is just duplicate the Path of Exile.app and put it on desktop and run the game from there

- This working fine for me but today after the update it wont run again because it says I need to patch it again.

Same Problem on my M2 Pro. The file Update.dat will not downloaded and right now no fix is working.
