[0.2.1] Life value feels low at endgame
I'm playing my lvl 91 tactician, Ar/Ev hybrid, and with 75% ele res and 50% chaos res, putting my body runes in my spare item sockets, i reached 2600 life. All my items have the best life tiers (my body armour grants me 290 hp, i.e.).
I think it's quite low for the investment i put into it. I rarely die to oneshots: the heavy hitters put me to 5 or 10% of HP, without taking into account telegraphed boss attacks. 2.5k life feels good to gameplay, but i think you should be able to reach this treshold far earlier. I think with the enemy damage numbers right now and with my investment in life, something around 3.5k should be good. Also my other chars, warbringer and amazon, reach the same 2.5k life mark. Currently, it is hard to scale enough life if you aren't doing a STR stacking build. In my opinion, if you need a significant amount of DEX or INT, life-based chars are not viable, unless you are a Witchunter (Sorcery Ward) or can buy OP gear.
*when I say "viable", I mean surviving T15+ and pinnacle bosses on HC consistently. |
