Herald of Ash, confused so much~!
I'm using Herald of Lightning to creat cold attack by insert all freeze and cold gem in it, and Herald of Ice to make fire explosion by insert all Fire gem in it, and HoI also has attack tag, so, with Lightning Arrow or Spear, I could easy get Trinity full stack, no single mana cost.
Yet, I'm confused because of Herald of Ash, which makes explosion by main skill overkill, and, and, and, it's not having an attack tag. CONFUSED SO MUCH. In fact idealy, if I have all there of them on, they'll make perfect Trinity attack, and that is right. Why? Why? Why? HoA is so different of tag and gem support, but the mechanic is very much same with HoL and HoI? Could someone explain it to me? Last bumped on Jun 12, 2025, 10:27:21 AM

1) Trinity specifically said that it has to be an attack hit
2) Herald of Ash explosion is not an attack hit 3) To maintain trinity buffs, you need to have balanced elemental damage. No certain type of elemental damage can be quite higher than others. They need to be somewhat very close. That means Herald of Thunder or Ice will not be a very reliable source to maintain resonance counts. Last edited by bewilder2#0356 on Jun 12, 2025, 8:14:29 AM

" Thanks I knew all your saying, but, I think HoA should have attack tag, because it's everything same with HoL or HoI, right? |

" Whether it should or should be not, its up to the balance decision. It never had one, but could be changed in the future. And not really the same with herald of ice / thunder. Herald of thunder buffs can only be gained if you kill shocked enemies, while herald of ice explosion can only be triggered on killing frozen enemies. All herald of ash needed to trigger the effect is to do overkill, which is way easier and simpler. |

" Yes you are right about the condition, so I think we need a Herald of fire by killing ignited enemies, and rename HoA as Herald of OP. |
