Call of Steel Use Speed
Currently, Call of Steel feels really bad to press as the use time is super slow. It felt great when the Lord of Steel jewel was obtainable so you could get 90+% use speed. The 40% use speed notable also doesn’t cut it.
I’m not really picky on which particular option you’d do, but could you possibly either: 1. Increase the base Cast Time of Call of Steel 2. Reintroduce the Lord of Steel jewel 3. Increase the Impale Mastery from 40% to 90% These skills are not meta nor would this change shift the power of impale to an overpowered state, but it would help the steel skills, Lancing Steel, Shattering Steel of Ammunition, and Splitting Steel of Ammunition, feel a lot better. Sorry if this should be posted somewhere else. P.S. Splitting Steel of Ammunition in the 3.26 Patch Notes currently lists the same base radius changes as the regular gem, despite the skill having a higher base radius already. Accept it bud, call of steel was essentially removed from the game whenever they removed the jewel. They also just made impale worse so its whatever anyways.
Conversion + phys as extra builds and strength stacking builds just always outclass phys impale. The only real one left for a while was gen cry bfurry and shield crush and they slapped that in the face repeatedly for a hot minute. With the removal of blitz I don't think its possible to get 10 aps with blade flurry anymore. With a paradoxica anyways. if you haven't noticed those steel skills have been primarily used as either coc triggers or builds to use with EE. Champ was doing some phys stuff with it a while back, I can't remember what changed, it may have been the determ/grace nerf + some other stuff that just made perseverance worse. I can't remember. Its been like 20 years since the last league. Actually i think they made the attack speed have a negative multiplier and took away the flat damage from it. Probably had a pretty negative effect given it was played with paradoxica. Last edited by Lonnie455Rich#2087 on Jun 11, 2025, 6:50:20 PM
