I tried this out again and I finally got the game play cadence down. I wasn't weaving the Defiance/Dread Banners before with the linger effect to make sure they had 100% uptime so I was taking way more damage than I should've. The slow attack speed doesn't matter when nothing can hurt you.

The 500% warcry CDR axe is really amazing. I'm probably only at 1/4th the damage since I'm using potato gear and I'm taking no damage auras/items and no damage nodes other than Admonisher. My 4th ascendancy node is the breach one with double damage to graft skills and Seize the Flesh/Return to Dust w/2 damage mods to supplement single target since I wanted to try out the skills. They do a lot of damage too even without Pride. Right now my only auras are all warcries except Rallying set to autoexert and Precision. I cast Rallying before a boss to charge Seize the Flesh and then less than a second of slamming instaphases or kills them. Most fun I've had in a long time.

Yeah, you are right. I just tried the 500% CDR , its amazing , but it is getting annoyingly loud.

I'll just say this. My second version of the build I'm workshopping as it currently stands has enough damage to phase uber Shaper in about 5-7 seconds of uptime.

I did not use damage auras or Rallying Cry, and I do not have the Uber Shaper helmet yet. I also have not equipped a +3 Earthshatter Replica Dragonfang I found yet since it feels unethical for SSF.

I still have more things to work through on this character before it's worth releasing, but things are going well.

I wish we could mute warcries like that one patch a while ago. Actually a huge downside of the setup IMO. The 500% CDR axe is also definitely a survivability nerf unfortunately. Makes it hard to see what's around your character.
I was noticing a detail, and I didn't quite understand it: if we have "Unwavering Stance," why did you leave "Soul for the Brine King" selected in the POB settings? Excuse my ignorance...
Some thoughts now that I've played with the 500% warcry CDR axe a ton:

The Wild Bear Oshabi ascendancy is great. No Unwavering Stance needed and you can get some evasion. Iron Reflexes and Echoes helmet is still an option if you want to go full armor and deal more damage. Regular bosses just melt regardless and I was able to do 175% quant T17 bosses for the challenge without trouble wearing just a normal helmet. The benefit of a normal helmet is you can get +2 AoE gems for your banners to hit the level 23 breakpoint, reduced mana cost of attacks implicit, phys taken as x implicit, mana reservation if you really need it, or filling your missing stats. All of the Farrul's Will options on Farrul seem great as options for the 4th point as well and are likely gonna be better than Oshabi if a Ritual aura spectre can stay alive with no other investment. I haven't tested it to see.

As long as Admonisher isn't nerfed having 7 shouts autocast feels perfect for mapping. I have the sound off so I don't hear them. Currently using Flesh and Stone sand stance and Precision as my other auras with a Pride Aul's with Sovereignty anointed. You can reserve Precision on life or get accuracy rolls on your gear or just accept that you won't get 40% more damage unless you put down War Banner on single target. I could squeeze in Blood and Sand with Slayer Impact Flesh/Flame for more non-banner-down accuracy but I didn't want to reconfigure. I'm not using Forbidden jewels at the moment but slayer has a handful of good choices.

I was looking for a lifetap Uul's to save a few points on mana costs but after playing around with it I think a momentum corruption might be better. It just feels good.

Most of the graft corruptions are worthless but there's one that is "1% chance to take 2% less area damage from hits per 2% overcapped cold resistance" and that's straight up 20% less area damage from hits taken even with only dread and defiance up as you're zooming. As for grafts you can pick anything really. I'm still using Seize the Flesh/Return to Dust but there's a shock one, a sap one, the Heart of Flame shield. Hard to say what's ideal.

I'm using a Warning Call/Lead by Example medium cluster. Seems perfect for the build. A second medium could be Titanic Swings/Towering Threat I guess. I'm not using a 2nd medium. You can do literally anything you want with the tree as long as you take all the basic points.

In my opinion this build with the warcry CDR axe is by far the best low investment build of the entire league and it's not even close. You could legit build it with only 1c invested in every gear slot. It's insane that there are only 10 people on ladder playing it right now. I think once a streamer tries it out it's going to get really popular. Interested to see what other people's takes are.

Edit: Here is my setup atm if anyone has other ideas. I turned off Fist of War, impale DPS, and Rallying Cry and set it to one spike hit to try to make the DPS fair. I'm not good with PoB so it's not gonna be exactly correct. I'm balanced between tank and offense but you can go far in either direction. The next thing I'd upgrade to would be Stormshroud and chance to avoid being shocked so I can move off Brine King.

I think I'm finishing up with the league. Had a blast playing this build with the new axe. Just mute those and away you go. Tried a few different variations on the skill tree but overall didn't innovate much. Last thing I was trying was messing with the impaler keystone. I think it helped? Hard to tell. I was insta-phasing most things I was fighting at that point before and after. I'm not really an uber farmer so didn't really fight those much. The ones I tried went down quick enough.

Very versatile build, was able to do all sorts of random content. I was on SC Trade, I think the axe is the most important thing for this style and everything on the tree is just extra. I personally dropped like 3 axes so SSF could easily get it I think. My ending gear isn't the greatest. I played around with crafting a little but only really swapped my boots for a slight upgrade. Most rares came from like day 3 or so.

Pobb with some basic stuff set. No rallying cry but all banners down.

Overall, would play again.

The build has the damage to do ubers. There is a guy on reddit on ruthless doing them. Can I do ubers? No. I'm a mechanically bad player and this build is almost at my limit in complexity. It's not super hard. You place banners down, rallying cry, then bonk. My issue is I can't control the character easily at 250+% movespeed. I did do one of the Uber incarnations without issue, the fire guy. I attempted uber shaper and got him to the last phase faster than I've gotten other builds doing normal shaper. However, the amount of times that I ran full speed into a Shaper beam or a Sirus tornado was greater than 1.

If you need more defenses the ruthless guy (reddit u/JekoJeko9) was using the new farrul's ascendancy with the turtle. I was to lazy to swap off oshabi once I got it. You get 100% uptime on the oshabi buff and again wasn't really farming ubers.

Anything under ubers you will probably instant phase. Ubers take more than 1 bonk probably.

TL;DR Yah can probably do ubers.

This axe just opens up so many possibilities for build variations. I tried hateforge with vaal ground slam and it sort of worked if you can reduce the soul gain prevention timer.
Otherwise I'm currently building around my graft damage. The burst damage from Seize the flesh + lvl34 + 200% increased graft damage suffix + 100% increased graft damage from bloodline + whatever damage taken increase you can get on the big bosses - just melts them so fast.
I am just a minion with fancy flagpoles to my fleshy grafts...

Also the new unique gloves Caged Mammoth kinda dope. Pretty much doubles your fortification damage reduction.
