Can you use link skills on the new Mercenaries

If it is a possibility, please consider being able to link them only with a Minion defence mastery or something similar ( not by default ).
If you can link them by default it can make link skills even more miserable to play in party ( Trying to keep link on 5 teammates while mercenaries go in your way 24\7 would be extremely annoying and upkeeping manacost of such interaction is very hard too

Or, you know, they could do what everyone wants and just remove the duration on link skills. Link skills aren't strong enough to warrant either the insanely high mana costs or the short duration, let alone both. Link skills only useable in party play, and even then kinda niche.

I agree with you on the part that links should not have a duration, but i doubt its on GGG's radar atm. Just hope that situation wont become even worse with the addition of mercs

Everything we've seen shows that Mercs will count as allies and party members, but not as minions. So you'll be able to link them with no mastery.
