Spell Echo and lightning bolt from Choir of the storms not compatible after the 2.1 patch.

That SHOULD be fixed. A spell is a spell, if Echo is socketable into Lightning bolt it SHOULD still be socketable in any Lightning bolt. The trigger is a specificity linked to the Choir of the Storm item and should NOT come into consideration when socketing the skill.

Another point, now it seems the supports gems don't appear next to the Choir's lightning bolt when crafting.

That doesn't feel right.

Thats why my lightning bolt barely pops, fix it or state its intended in patch notes next time.

This either needs to be fixed to the way it was or they at minimum need to code this as a triggered spell and allow the triggered skill tree nodes to boost this spell's damage. GGG, this spell can't be both triggered and not triggered only when it's convenient to lower the damage output (which isn't even nearly as crazy as other skills this season, we all know which ones)

Have people tested whether those nodes still don't affect Choir of the Storm's Lightning Bolt damage, after the 0.2.1 patch?
