The wording "Armour from Equipped Shield is Doubled"

Does the mean that the armour calculation is doubled then added to the overall total armour that your character has?

Or does it mean that your equipped shield has double armour? so skills like shield crush would benefit from it with double armour value

The former, your character receives twice the armour from equipped shield. Shield skills won't benefit from it, because the armour value on the shield isn't changing.

I was thinking the same as MonaHuna, but the interaction seems to be 1-1 the same as Escape Artist and Oath of the Maji which did worked. Atleast on the word to word case. Dunno we will have to see.

My guess is it does work because it's a pinnical boss drop and it wouldn't make sense if it didn't as it would be a fairly bad item otherwise.

I'm thinking about using it plus the fire pen ring on a sst armor stacker this league however giving up both ring slots will be hard to do.
