Buff to Divine Ire is great but...
I love that they're buffing Divine Ire and in the video they said they were also buffing self casting and channeling stuff, that is great!
But there is one change I wanted to see to Divine Ire that was not in the patch notes. Divine Ire of Disintegration should not lose the explosion component! Divine Ire has a few different components: 1) Channel to damage in area around you 2) Channel to gain charges for release attack 3) Release explosion around you 4) Release laser beam The two Divine Ire variant skills focus on different aspects of this attack. Holy Lightning focuses on the area damage channeling aspect of the attack, but it also gains charges and releases an explosion, just no laser. As far as I've seen people using it, the explosion part is not that important. People use it with CWC to warp while channeling and staying "stationary". But it obviously doesn't harm things by having the explosive component. Disintegration, however, focuses on the laser beam portion of the attack, and removes the area damage channeling component. This is fine, BUT, it also removes the explosion around you when you shoot the laser beam. You ONLY get the beam and nothing else. Basically Holy Lightning removes component 4, but Disintegration removes components 1 AND 3. This is a major issue because the laser beam is extremely directional and does not encompass your own hit box or the small area around you (or your totems if you're casting it with totems). This means that it will not damage enemies who are right next to you and the skill has major issues with consistency in clearing due to the mobbing nature of mobs and the fact you have to sit still to charge the attack. Disintegration, as much as I'd like to use it, either self cast or totems, is basically unusable for this reason. Instead you have to use normal Divine Ire if you want to focus on the beam, not for the channeling damage, but just for the little explosion that comes along with the beam.
