...when GGG announced that they'll inject PoE 2 into PoE 1.

As long as the stuff they inject is Qol they won't hear any complaints from me. It's what this game is lacking above everything else.

" Absolutely agree. I'd even go so far as to say they could even NOT release any new content and ONLY add QoL.....and it'd bring me back to play a whole league. Things like: auto-use currency to 6L/6s/specific coloring, more efficient currency pile vacuuming, mod-hunting auto alterations, passive point and gearing potential +/- screen (although this isn't totally necessary), MINION STATS!!!!, among others. Maybe even eventually getting an in-game adjustable filter similar to what Last Epoch offers. Just modernize the game from the ground up. Without fundamentally changing it. While GGG have made their best to kill all hype around PoE for the last 6 months, I am still eager to play, as I didn't really play that much in Phrecia due to Settlers burnout.
The pausing mechanic is a non-issue for me. Don't care about it, one way or the other. But the moment they start adding PoE2 crap that does affect me (well refills, boring flask system, turtle gameplay, dodge roll etc.), I'll be more vocal than a rooster at dawn, telling them exactly how bad they are. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Don't be weird, they started to "inject" poe2 stuff years ago into poe1 already
