They've already said they can't do WASD on PoE 1 (It was in a Q&A, can't remember which one) wouldn't work with the rig and would look janky. Your character would be snapping instead of turning in the direction you wanted to go. It just wouldn't look right. PoE 1 would look like you were playing Vampire Survivors with WASD, would be jank.

They'd also have to change all the skills if you wanted to attack while moving like in PoE 2. Which with the amount of skills in PoE 1, that's a lot of work, as well as do model work. It's too much.


A lot of people seem to think, well PoE 1 can be played on controller so why wouldn't it work, well for one a controller has an analog stick which doesn't have a fixed number of input directions. WASD on keyboard has 8 input directions/pointers.

Going with the current cadence of a spoiler every 2 days does not equate to very much unless they are holding a whole bunch back for the ggg live. 2 good ones so far but hoping they have a lot more. 11 months is a long time. If the new cadence is 6 months or more then they need to have more to carry us through. A good one I would like to see is the item identification process. Wisdom scrolls are ancient tech that need to go away, id on the ground or on hover in inventory or id vendor in hideout. Mark as trash for quick vendoring(salvage), etc.

Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks simply isn't fun. Rework stacked decks needed.

Can you please add a search bar under the additional map window? Would let us use our regex and it would be more useful than just holding the next 20 maps.

If you're going to do this, why not make it so when we open the map device it opens our map stash tab instead, except a more minimal window that's side by side.

If you really know what balance means, the only result should be slightly nerf the damage of top skills, and significantly optimize tons of trash skills mechanically (and sometimes increase the value, but the problem of most skills is not damage, so unless the damage is really crazy enough, I mean, 1-2 order of magnitude, no one would like to use them).

According to patchnotes these years, it's literally impossible, and they were and are reluctant to do so since they feel bad when players could enjoy the game directly.

The truth is no matter how you nerf the good skills, they are still good, and still the best choices for the game. And trash is always trash without mechanistic improvement.

And mechanistic nerf directly destroyed skills, you can just search for these sad examples.

Cause it will just force everyone to buy map stash. Now it's more like an additional map stash for free.

And for some reasons, it's not always the best choice to save map into the map stash, if you want to count the value of items during a period of time, or if you want to sell stashes of 8-mod or t17 maps efficiently, or you don't want trash maps mixed with good juicy maps.
