Funny how I haven't seen a single gamble box since the first week

Saw a bunch the first week, ever since zero. Level 97.5 and it's probably been since level 80 since I saw the last one.

Pretty lame because they obviously shadow nerfed the rate of which they can appear but never mentioned that.

They obviously nerfed it and they forgot to put that in the change log. Did like 50 maps with ~8 boxes a map. Got only one unique strongbox with that rare that spawns few times

I think it is something less nefarious. It is a problem with their loot chance system. Changes on chances of rarity or any other item trough atlas sometimes push an item outside the drop table standard deviation. I for example was getting 1 greater jewellers orb per hour.. I increased my waystones drop rate in atlas .. and the gems disappeared.. stopped dropping. I refunded the point.. and the gems started dropping again. Sometimes more rarity items dropped result in other items disappearing from your drops ... the whole loot table system seems to have statistical sampling problems.

I notice that too. The loot system is a proper mess imho that should be redesigned from the ground up otherwise we will see again and again that loot drops feel bad/off whenever something in the game gets tweaked or new items added to the pool.

Gold drop for instance should be separated from item and crafting orb drops! That alone would probably smoothen a lot of the rough edges. And for certain things a pity counter should exist to not ruin a percentage of players experience completely by bad RNG. For instance when early in this league almost nobody got a perfect or greater jewelers orb. If the game game detects that someone never got even one after playing many maps/mna hours then the chance for a drop should go up eventually.
I had one maybe 2 or 3 days ago. The second one ive seen since patch, so theyre still there. Ive had several of the other unique ones show up.
Have not seen a single one.
Even went and changed the atlas passives to strongboxes. And I seen in total maybe 5 unique boxes since start of this league and none of them were the gamba box.
I haven't seen one for about two weeks.
