POE2 small plea gameplay

I don't often engage in this exercise, but I'm complaining this time.
I love POE1 and POE2.
At the beginning of POE2, I loved it because finally we could level up a character without too much difficulty, if we were diligent, and start fighting and defeating high-level Bosses.
I had made a spark witch that worked well.Boom, an update that breaks everything... Nerfed witch... well, why not.
But now we find ourselves in the POE1 game system modeled- which has always caught my attention - meaning that during the campaign, you can find good items that allow you to progress.
Then the endgame - maps - the good items that would make the character less vulnerable and more efficient are extremely rare, so as a result, we die constantly and progress is very difficult.
The icing on the cake is the appearance of "unstable plants."
Chaos damage it seems, all rare monsters are likely to create them and from low levels. Well, why not, but at low levels it is practically impossible to have a decent chaos resistance that would prevent you from dying....
Moreover, sometimes these plants explode at your feet without you having been able to detect them....
At the same time, I wonder about players in hardcore mode. How do they manage to withstand such attacks at low levels? Maybe some players do not encounter this type of attack??
I must be a particularly bad player.
