Remove tornado bird from trials of chaos if you won't nerf it

Tornado bird in trials of chaos is absolutely bullshit, it's literally impossible to kill for a normal player/normal build. I can't understand how it's so ridiculous for such a long time since game released. Go online and see how many people complain about this fight. If you don't know how to nerf it then just remove it from the game, because it is the most unbalanced fight in the history of video games and every trial of chaos is just a russian roulette - do I finish the trial or do I get this boss and restart. And it's like that for everyone.

lol, I'm not the type to complain about boss difficulty generally, but you are kinda right with this one. I'm playing SSF and right now I don't have bleed protection, which I think is mandatory for this fight.

I think they've seriously buffed him or that bleed is simply much more dangerous.

Even with the lich passive protecting life loss, it's still pretty brutal if you lose your energy shield, it's pretty GG. Going CI with a witch is also usually a bad idea but I might try to spec it to see If it helps.

It's genuinely the only boss I have a problem with right now in the game.

They could nerf him by reducing the size of the large tornado a little and not let him do his flappy flaps in such a quick succesion (two of them in the blink of an eye essentially amount to getting one shot).

That said he definitely can get killed easily with different class/build. I struggled massively with my huntress (poor defenses, bad single target), for my Lich on the other hand he is trivial content.
In my experience, the fight itself is learnable and I'd honestly say that in a vacuum, it'd be fine with a little bit of safety design against occasional no-win circumstances...

...if it weren't for the fact that it's an Ultimatum boss with a random assortment of bullshit Ultimatum mods that distract from the fight and are obnoxious to play around.

I'd complain more about Ultimatum itself, but that's a different topic altogether.

EDIT: To address Tornado and Windflaps individually...

Tornado
Keep an eye on whether the boss is twisting its body in a spiral. If it does: BACK AWAY. The tornado will chase you, but I personally circle around the arena to keep it relatively centered.

Currently, I'd just 'fix' this move just by improving the telegraphing prior to the attack and making the area surrounding the boss much more visibly windy as soon as it starts the attack. Make the boss flash red too, I don't believe it's even blockable in the first place.

Windflap
The boss will flash red, fly forward, then fly back to its spot and hover before shooting a barrage of windflaps. Get behind the boss, preferably reacting to it flying forward, then stay behind the boss until it's done with the windflaps. It will attempt to turn towards you and will push itself back with each flap, so adjust your positioning accordingly.

There is a bit of a no-win scenario if the boss initiates this attack at the edge of the arena. I'd fix this by pushing the boss closer to the center of the arena if it's too close to the edge when performing this attack. As for learning this attack the first time, I would prefer if the lower-level trials (4-7 rooms?) made the boss deliberately aim the wrong way the first time it performs this move to better demonstrate it. Maybe it's so windy that a random rock hits its head on that specific attempt?

I don't know if I prefer to die to tornado bird or to spend a whole hour running around against the stupid dragon.

It took them 3 months to realize they had wrong Boss hp numeric value in one of trials...and neckbeard only laughed about it when he said it.

Why do you think they are serious about anything when comes to poe2?

Breezing through 15+ maps & bosses. Trial itself is a joke. But can't beat any of the bosses with enough certainty to invest the time.

I have basically quit the game - I loved playing with my spark & gemling spent 1000 hours in the game. If the game continues as in 2.0 I'm out... it's not fun with xp penalties, feeling you make no progress, can't keep up to the market - can't kill basic bosses & slowly grind feeling I am actually achieving something.

Will check the game again at 3.0 - but if it will still pretend souls genre but with all kinds of penalties demanding to spend hours to fight a boss only to loose again and again....

Want to make it tough? Let us repeat the boss fights with no penalties and no requirement to eg. re-do the whole trial. Otherwise make it manageable for a casual player.
Get a bleed charm.
This boss is the most basic easy boss.
