Request to get easier swapping of duplicate gems

When you have two of the same gems that you want to swap out, for example if I lave a level 1 version of a gem I want to use for clearing but then a level 18 version of the same gem for bosses, even if I click on the replacement gem from my inventory and click again on the same spot where the equipped gem is in my skills list, it does not simply replace the gem. Instead, it lifts out all of the supports attached to the equipped gem and puts them on my cursor.

I would suggest that if the gems are the exact same name/skill and the existing supports are valid supports on the replacement, just let me swap out the skill gem and not have to bring all the supports to my inventory and then manually move them back to the new gem.
