Items fade out immediately, making my loot filter pointless.
I have tried many ways to troubleshoot this...
I can have everything showing with "z", which makes the loot filter pointless. However if I want to only see the items I allow, The game fades them out almost immediately or instantly if i mouse over them and off again. I really don't know what to do to fix this at this point. All I want is for the items I allow via the filter to show, and then stay. Why is this difficult? Last bumped on May 20, 2025, 1:02:42 AM

Your loot filter isn't configured correctly and is hiding the items. You need to have them under the Show block. Or if you are using filter blade or something it's to strict.
For some reason your filter is set to hide everything. |

I am using filterblade, and the issue isn't that it's hiding things, it is that they fade out after i mouse over or after a very short time. It does show them initially. I think you may be right that it's too strict. I'm also going to try a different filter and see how that goes.

If they pop for just a few seconds that means it's set to not show. Certain items will always pop. Anything that fades is set to hide.

" In order to fade, the item must be shown by the item filter. There is no item filter setting for "show for x seconds". Items that are hidden by the filter simply do not show. " If you have everything shown with "Always Highlight" (the option toggled by pressing Z), then everything that passes the filter will be shown. Items hidden by the filter are shown only if holding Alt with "Always Highlight" active, and don't appear with moused over otherwise. If you disable "Always Highlight", then items will fade after a few seconds. In this case, holding Alt will only display items that pass the filter. Items hidden by the filter will remain hidden while holding Alt. |
